- The fortress on the Cerro has a military museum with its own opening hours. On an early start we stop for the view and go in only if it is open.
- Sundays
- The Ciudad Vieja is quiet on Sundays. The Mercado del Puerto is open and busy at lunchtime.
- Best for
- Travellers with one full day in Montevideo, or a cruise call.
