Who we are
This website and the tours on it are run by Transitan Tourism Tours Ltd, a company registered in Ireland (company no. 781297), registered office 36 Gardiner Street Upper, Dublin 1, Ireland, under the Exclusive World Tours brand. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Questions about your data go to info@exclusiveworldtours.com or WhatsApp +353 89 979 7412.
What we collect, and why
- When you book or ask about a tour: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, the tour, date, start time, number of people, pick-up address and anything you choose to tell us in your message. We use it to arrange and run your tour, and to contact you about it. The legal basis is the contract with you, or the steps you asked us to take before it.
- When you pay: card payments are handled by Stripe. We see that a payment was made and its amount; we never see or store your full card number.
- When you write to us through the contact form, the supplier form, email or WhatsApp: the message and the contact details you send with it, used to answer you.
- Records the law requires: booking and payment records are kept for our accounts and tax returns. The legal basis is a legal obligation.
We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing emails unless you asked to receive them.
Newsletter: if you sign up in our Magazine, we first send you an email to confirm it was really you; you are only subscribed once you confirm. We use your email address only to send you the newsletter. Every email has a link to unsubscribe, and unsubscribing deletes your address from the list. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who receives it
- The driver or local partner who runs your tour, who receives what they need to collect you: your name, phone number, pick-up place and time, and the number of people.
- Airportlink, our sister brand within Transitan Tourism Tours Ltd, when you book an airport transfer on our site. Transfers are booked through Airportlink, under its own privacy policy.
- Service providers who work for us: Stripe (payments), Supabase (the database where bookings and newsletter sign-ups are kept), Resend (booking and newsletter emails), Google Workspace (our email), Meta (WhatsApp messages), Telegram (booking notifications to our team) and Render (the hosting of this website and of our booking server).
- Public authorities, where the law requires it.
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA, it is covered by the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
This website
The site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores two settings in your browser: the currency you chose to see prices in, and, while you pay, the language of the page, so that we can bring you back to it from Stripe. Nothing else. The airport transfer calculator stores the same currency setting. When you pay, you do so on Stripe’s secure page, under Stripe’s own privacy policy.
To show the pages, your browser connects to our hosting provider, to Unsplash for some photographs and to our booking server for exchange rates. Our typefaces are served from our own site. Each of them receives your IP address as part of that connection, as any website does.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records: six years after the end of the financial year they belong to, as Irish company and tax law requires.
Enquiries that do not become a booking: three years after our last contact with you, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. Write to info@exclusiveworldtours.com or WhatsApp +353 89 979 7412 and we will answer within one month. We may ask you to confirm who you are first.
If you are not happy with how we handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland, at dataprotection.ie, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version is published on this page with its date. Last updated: 5 October 2026.
