The day
The classic first day in Rio. We go up Corcovado early, before the crowds and the clouds build.

The statue on top of Corcovado, with the whole city, the lagoon and the bay below. Cars stop short of the summit; the last stretch is by the official van or the rack railway.

The tiled staircase between Lapa and Santa Teresa, covered by the Chilean artist Jorge Selarón with tiles from all over the world.

Sugarloaf Mountain
Two cable cars, first to Morro da Urca and then to the top. Copacabana, Botafogo and the mouth of Guanabara Bay are all in view.

- Works on the access to the statue began in August 2026, and fewer visitors are allowed up at a time. Book your Corcovado ticket as early as you can.
- Clouds
- Corcovado is often in cloud. If the top is hidden in the morning, we swap the order and go up Sugarloaf first.
- Tickets
- We can tell you which tickets to buy and for what time when you book.
- Start time
- Starts at 07:00, every day. Every tour is customisable: a different start time, extra stops, more time where you like it, or a longer day. Tell us when you book.
- Language
- Guided in English. Other languages on request, if we have notice.
- Cancellation
- Free up to 24 hours before, refunded in full.
