Opening times
San Francisco opens at 07:00, the Cathedral and the Basílica at 09:00 and La Compañía from 09:30 to 16:00. The Mitad del Mundo museum is open every day from 09:00 to 18:00.
Altitude and sun
Quito is about 2,850 m above sea level and the sun is strong at the equator. Bring a hat, sun cream and water.
Clouds at Pululahua
The crater often fills with cloud. If it does, the view may be short or hidden.
