Porto de Galinhas and the reef pools
Jangadas sail about 15 minutes out to the natural pools in front of the village; the trip takes about an hour and a half. You pay at the jangadeiros' post at the end of the main street.

About 10 km north of the village, where a long reef wall keeps the water calm and clear. Lunch by the beach.

- Tides
- The pools are only worth it at low tide. Walking out is allowed only at low tide, with a limited number of wristbands a day. We set the order of the day by the tide table.
- Coral
- Do not stand on the coral. Lifeguards time each group's stay in the pools.
- Seahorses
- Jangadas in Maracaípe offer a seahorse trip. Some guides advise against it, as it stresses the animals.
- Start time
- Starts at 07:00, every day. Every tour is customisable: a different start time, extra stops, more time where you like it, or a longer day. Tell us when you book.
- Language
- Guided in English. Other languages on request, if we have notice.
- Cancellation
- Free up to 24 hours before, refunded in full.

Yes. The tour is private, and the price depends on how many of you travel. Send us your date and group size and we reply with the price.
We change the order of the day so you reach the pools near low tide. If there is no usable low tide in daylight on your date, we will tell you when you book.
Not in the same day without rushing. Our Carneiros and Tamandaré tour is a separate day.
