- The reserve sells timed tickets online and at the visitor centre, and you may not be let in if you are late. Book a time from 10:30.
- The road
- The last stretch up to Monteverde is unpaved and bumpy, and the lake road has many tight bends. Take something if you get carsick.
- Bring
- A warm layer and a rain jacket. The cloud forest is cool, damp and often misty.
- Start time
- Starts at 07:00, every day. Every tour is customisable: a different start time, extra stops, more time where you like it, or a longer day. Tell us when you book.
- Language
