One of the most common reasons people book our Dublin photography walk has nothing to do with sightseeing. They are planning to propose, and they want the moment photographed properly.
How it works
Tell us beforehand, when you book. The photographer will be in position and discreet, so nobody guesses what is about to happen, and the moment is captured from the right angle.
After that it becomes a normal session: two hours walking between the places in Dublin that photograph well, with posing and framing help as you go, and a full gallery of professionally edited photos by email, usually within three to five days.
Choosing the place
You can choose the locations. The walk usually covers:
- The Ha'penny Bridge, the white iron arch over the Liffey and the best-known shot in the city. Early or late is better than midday.
- Temple Bar, the painted fronts and the cobbles. Busy, but the photographer knows which corners are not.
- Trinity College and Grafton Street, the cobbled squares and the long light through the front arch.
If somewhere else matters to the two of you, ask for it when you book.
Practical details
- You meet at O'Connell Bridge. We send the exact spot and the photographer's number when you book.
- Up to 8 people, if you want family or friends there afterwards.
- Dublin rain makes good photographs. We only move the session for a real downpour, and then you pick another day.
